2 working assigned shifts, you will be responsible for completing investigations and incident reports. You will be expected to perform constant patrols and interact with tenants and members of the public to provide direction and promote good customer service while providing a security presence. Respond to all emergencies and take the lead role in all incidents involving violent individuals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable manner
2 Able to utilize thoughtfulness and discretion in dealings over a run of settings and situations
3 Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid, cpr, or aed support until medical professionals arrive
4 Ability to maintain and enforce access control procedures
5 Solid understanding of emergency and standard operating procedures
6 Deal with unauthorized persons found on the property, in a fair and safe manner, by enforcing the trespass to property act
7 Assist with fire & life safety inspections
8 Maintain a detailed memo book and prepare incident reports on all matters dealt.
9 Conduct occasional watches of property either by foot or by vehicle.
10 Investigate incidents and occurrences
11 Draft detailed incident and occurrence reports
12 Maintain the peace, safety, and security of all patrons, clients on the property
13 Monitor cctv surveillance systems
14 De-escalate emergency / crisis situations
15 Assist emergency and law enforcement personnel
16 Access control, line management, customer service
17 Help with every day operations as needed/required or directed.
18 Other duties as outlined by management
QUALIFICATIONS
1 Must be willing and able to stand, walk, patrol by foot and vehicle for extended periods (8-12 hours)
2 Must illustrated a high degree of professionalism
3 Must have at least 1 year of mall security or relevant experience
4 Must have a g class drivers license with a clear drivers abstract.
5 Must be willing and bale to provide a recent and valid vulnerable sector check, criminal background check and drivers abstract as required.
6 Must have solid verbal and composed communication skills
7 Must have a strong command and fluency in the english language both written and verbal
8 Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment both indoors and outdoors as required.
9 Must be able to handle stress and pressure and make a sound decision under duress
10 Must be comparable working in a active exceedingly populated area
11 Must have a clean driver abstract
12 Must illustrate high consideration to detail / observational awareness
13 Must illustrate solid interpersonal abilities and passionate insights and the capacity to work profitably and effectively in a team.
